Season 2 – Part 51- Hope :)

Hope..not a day goes by without us not using that word…as independent as we would like to think we are..hope is as close to us as our own shadow. Its human nature,just many of us don’t like to admit it.

“I hope it rains today”..”I hope I don’t get late for work”..” I hope my client is happy”..”I hope I don’t get stuck in traffic”
And as the saying goes..for as long as there is hope..there is life!

My hope was a little different ever since I met her..
First it was”I hope she doesn’t open her mouth” ℓ☺ℓ! “I hope she doesn’t look at me the way she does”..”I hope I’m able to avoid her” and then suddenly everything changed.. And became ” I hope I see her today”..”I hope she’s willing to give me a chance”..”I hope I’m able to make her smile”

It was funny how things changed almost overnight. Even though she is very attractive..wait no..correction..she’s beautiful:) but she irritated me and I couldn’t handle the thought of being near her! But I was forced to…and from there began the best days of my life yet! There was something about her that drew me to her, I actually started believing that maybe just maybe we were made for each other?

I wanted to get to know her better but apart from the few words and the smiles that made my heart melt..she gave me no indication that she was “interested” in me! I hope I didn’t scare her or come on too strong…

This woman was literally running all over my mind and heart. Everything was her, everywhere I looked, everything I felt…was her.
The happiness that built up inside me whenever I saw her was something I never knew before, nothing I had ever felt before. Just looking at her made me happy!

So you can imagine how pleasantly surprised I was when I saw her infront of me..and it wasn’t just one of my daydreams *sigh* *swoon* whatever you may call it.

It was wednesday night and we were meeting at Maariah’s house for our date night- along with the rest of her family.

There she was…standing with a group of ladies, looking pretty in pink, her hair was open with just a little clip on the one side and the rest of it fell over her shoulders. I really wanted to go and talk to her but all these other ladies intimidated me *hide*

Riza: Zoheb howzit!

Me: hey bro (shaking his hand)

Maariah: (barging in) can I trouble you guys for something? I forgot the cakes in my car please will you be so sweet and get it for me?

And we oblidged. I turned to look at Aara again and smiled…she was running around with a few kids and making all these funny faces.

So we got the cakes, Riza got a call and I just waited for him when Aara with a trail of kids came running out into the yard.
“Help us catch her” the kids shrieked. Naturally I obliged *wink*
But she was fast!
Not realising I was almost behind her, Aara turned around as if to give up and BANG!! *hide*

I bumped straight into her and before we knew it, it was tumble tumble tumble down the embankment of Maariah’s mothers huge and fancy garden.

My head throbbed and I knew Aara had probably also gotten hurt just as bad…

Me: Aara…Aara are you okay ? (Trying to help her wake up)

Aara: wooah what just happened ( and she held her head too)

Me: I’m so sorry…OH NO!! ( shock written all over my face)…you have a huge lump on your forehead!!!

Aara: (feeling her forehead) ouch ouch (wincing in pain and then turning to look at me) OH MY WORD!!

Me: what what?? What happened?

Aara: you have a lump too!!! (And she burst out laughing)

Riza: hey are you too okay? (Rushing to Aara) what the…(Now looking at both our faces for a few seconds before he too started laughing)

And we walked into the house, both of us desperately needing an icepack..and everyone turned to look at us.

We probably looked like we were from another planet with our protruding forehead bits…eish…

Maariah helped us with icepacks and Aara and I sat down in the kitchen.

Me: I’m really sorry Aara

Aara: relax will you

Me: you’re seriously not mad at me?

Aara: it was an accident…*rolling her eyes*

Me: any other girl in your place would have been flipping right now you know that and I probably wouldn’t have heard the end of it…

Aara: (smiling) well then, I guess I’m not just any other girl now am I? *wink*
