Dear Readers,

Ever since I started writing LLD in the form of this blog ( I’ve been writing LLD in my head for years), I’ve been interacting with many of you, be it here or on other mediums of social networking. And sometimes, some things that people say…really just makes my day. The nicest thing anyone has said about LLD is ” LLD makes me feel like falling in love all over again”. You know who you are 😉

So last night Haaj and I were reminiscing about our favourite LLD moments and we had a good laugh remembering it all over again:)

So I woke up this morning thinking…why not ask everyone?

Share your favourite LLD moment/ moments, be it the sad ones or the happy ones.

Share what LLD has taught you…what have you learnt…

Because between Riza, Laeeka, Aara, Zoheb, Nemo, Maariah, Arshad, Zainab, Immy and our guest characters…memories have been created. Somewhere, somehow in some part of your life…the cast of LLD has weaved their magic…and we would love to hear about it!

    They still get t thrill telling me the elephant in fridge joke and are fasanated wid “lapri ki kati”…
    O and most definitley reading A&Z brings back so many memories😍☺️

I have to say the part where Nemo phoned that uncle*cannot remember his name*think it was Yusuf, anyway when he asked told the uncle he won the Simba competition and asked him to roar like a lion. I laughed so hard after years!I was crying! I read the entire blog in 1 go last weekend and I must say I went through a lot of emotions laughing , crying, suspense.pls keep up the great work. Helps us readers to escape at the end of a tiring day☺

  3. At first I saw this blog and thought it was boring and very mainstream but last year I decided to actually read a post and then I got hooked. Now I wait to get LLD emails for new posts. P.S I’m one of the readers from the UAE

  4. I would like 2 say LLD is an amazing blog I have reread it countless times n everytime I read it it feels like the 1st time.Keep up the good work n I love ur posts.My friend n I talk about LLD the whole day 🙂 reading LLD helps u escape reality 😉

    • I actually have a lot and if I do put them here, I will be talking for ages and ages but one of them is when Nemo and Zoheb had to act as Dumb and Dumber and when Nemo phoned that Uncle and told him about winning the simba competition.

  6. Most hilarious parts 4 me was when Nemo and Zoheb were teamed up to bake. And also the part were I laafed really hard was when they had to give whateva they baked to dat Anga lady and they told her that he has this medical condition and so they tryna raise funds….it was just tooo funny.
    Also this part where Zee tells Mari dat he’ll have no knee-caps by d tym her brain cells start wrkn. #Totally bust.
    Most touching part was when Zoheb n Aara discover that they’ve met b4…. Cos of the chain/pendant.
    Most annoying person is Reez’s mum…. Eish dat woman.
    Sweetest part was Zoheb singing 4 Aara.
    And all d parts where u describe wat each 1 wore when they all dressed formal and went out 4 dinner….I just loved it….they all just oozed sophistication!
    This blog is my favouritist blog…. Just love it …. Keep up d excellent writing!

  7. My sisters and I all love your blog. We even have a no talk about the new posts until everyone has read it rule. When we discuss nemo, aara and zoheb our husbands laugh and say we talk about them as if they are real people whom we know personally. I love to read lld just before I sleep, with a little baby it gives me 5 minutes of me time. Love this blog!

  8. Love absolutely every post. Love eacj character.
    Favourite post was definitely nemo and zoheb baking. Hilarious. And the way they interacted with each other. Likw they have been friends for years.
    And definitely zoheb giving all the ladies a a rose and all the different colours to aara. Then noticed she never ate and ordered take away for her.
    Best posts are with aara and zoheb 💕
    Hoping you will give as many more sweet moments between my favourite aara and zoheb 💕.
    Zoheb definitely had stolen my heart💓

  10. I dont usually comment. But today I thought let me share a few of my thoughts. I first read about LLD on one of the other blogs where the famous “haaj” :p (i dont know you at all but thanx anyway for getting me hooked onto this amazing blog) had mentioned about post 15 in particular. So I was quite curious to know what it was all about hence I started reading the blog. Till I reached that part and I laughed so hard that day.. one of my siblings even came to my room to check on me, like I had gone crazy or something lol.. and what the joke was.. but I was laughing so loud I cudnt even speak… it was all about the prank they played. Was just hilarious… At that time i was going through a very hard time..emotionally…. so it literally just made my day. And from then onwards LLD was something I looked forward to every single day. Thank you Miss Author. 😀

    It taught me alot! As long as you have a small circle of friends who are genuine consider yourself lucky. Like how their friendship is in this blog.. the way Riza has always been there for Aara.. through thick and thin, just makes you realise its not always blood that makes you family, its the people who would do anything to see you smile.. people who will be there for you no matter what, to hear you out without “judging” you…
    Initially I was team nemo. He is still my fav character no doubt. And I always thought she needs to marry her best friend. I used to argue with my cuzzies reg this lol.. But now I feel Aara needs Zoheb… because shes been through alot. And he will look after her better because he just understands her.. I guess coz his been broken too. in the end its not who you want, its who you need. So your lucky man is the guy who just understands you abit better than anyone else…

    And then there were times when this blog made me cry too. Especially when aara had to see nemo suffer. In all honesty its not a very nice thing to see.. When your best friend is in pain. But thats life. It teaches us to be strong.
    I could go on and on.lol.
    In conclusion it is one of the best blogs ever. Thank you… keep it up. 🙂

  11. Parts that had me rolling on the floor with laughter :
    1 was Truth n Dare where I thnk riza had 2 dig his nose, Nemo fooling the uncle that he won Simba chips
    2) Nemo n zoheb baking n dating with Anga n explaining Nemos medical condition #ripped

    Sad parts which made me tear : the whole story on Nemos n Aaras past

    Heartbreaking parts : Zainab speaking about the person she is n why to Arshad very emotional there

    Most romantic were always zoheb n Aara forever so cute even in capetown n my most favorite zoheb helps Aarah climb the stairs n when dey get to the top she screams I love u really sweet

    Each character has given me sumthing to learn frm

    Aara : Never give up on sum1 no matter how low they can make u feel
    Zoheb (eye lashes) : Tru luv has 2 be earned n proved with patients n understanding

    Riza : honesty n keeping friends untied is important
    Leeks : win ur mil’s luv kill her wit kindness

    Arshad : don’t judge a book from its cover (like how arshad judged zaini) zaini : the people with the worst past can have the best future

    Mari : don’t ever b jealous it will destroy n it can ruin friendship 4 life .
    Immi : accept faults of others n rather than putting them down help them correct der mistakes

    Nemo: u can change no matter how Messed up u r

  12. There are certainly many many many moments I loved, laughed at and felt really sad about. And ofcourse the suspense.
    But when I try to look back and think of my favourite post, I think it would have to be the very begining of the blog. Were it all started. The characters were still new, but it was really exciting and different.
    I really wanted to get to know this group of friends more. I thought it was cool that they’re each wrote what they were thinking in that book. Each character made their entrance. And Aara’s entrance was the most memorable, coz she was late coz zoheb blocked her and she stuck tomatoes on his car lol. So I really liked the very begining of it all, it was new but I couldn’t help but want to know more about these characters and see how the story turned out. And so far it’s been a roller coaster, but it is simply amazing. I wait eagerly for the next post.
    You are a great writer 🙂 keep it up Shazia, there’s not many like you, or any at all in fact 🙂

  14. LLD has taken me down memory lane of my own childhood with my cousins. All the pranks that Nemo had done to the others,the eating of tomato sauce with samp and beans, dawaras brings back good memories. My favourite is the story of little Aara and Nemo back in grade 1 and how they met and became the best of friends. This blog shows the power of true friendship.

D best moment 4 me was aara telling zoheb dat she loves him.funniest moment was aara n ebie tickling zoheb through d wall aswell as arshaad leaving zainub @ d garage.my BA n GT sisters n I laughed @ dat hilariously.sadest moment had 2b yday wen mariaah confessed n aara broke down.   16. Picking a favorite memory from this blog is impossible. This entire blog is amazing with all the ups and downs the crew faces. It brighens up my days and leaves me in stitches. It makes me believe that love does exist and the world isn’t as bad as it made ought to be. I honestly have withdrawal symptoms when there isn’t a post. If I was Hazel Grace LLD would be hands down my imperial affliction♡.

  17. There’s A LOT of my favourite posts !!! But the one I find that’s the best … is where Aara and Zoheb show each other their pieces of the pendant … That really touched my heart 🙂
    There is soooo many I love to bits :p
    Everytime I get an email from LLD … it makes my day !!! Whenever there’s a new post , the next day my friends and I CANNOT stop talking about it !!
    LLD makes me smile , laugh , cry , roll on the floor , jump from excitement and just grin like a weirdo !! There’s not a day when I’m not thinking about Riza , Laeeka , Arshad , Zainub , Aara , Zoheb , Nemo , Mariaah and Immy 😀 😀

Started reading this blog bcoz of my sis kept telling us bout n eventually when I Started was hooked . now every time a new post comes out we phone each other immediately n on weekends when we discuss it our hubby’s go mad coz we go all gaga over it n just this weekend we were imitating arshoo n his trousers lol,n if we go sum where we have 2 atleast 1nce say oooh aara would do this n nemo would do this etc,but all us sis r aara n nemo die hard fans but thanx 2 u 4 the awesome posts we bond as sisters thru it, love u sissys u know who u r *wink* but once again thanx shazia u really got us involved in the story

  21. ahh…how i love this blog… It was kinda funny when aara spat that naartjie thing in zohebs hand at the beginning also the cake part when they put maas in the cake. Sad when aara was tryna help nemo get over his addiction. The house part was scary the prank that aara played n0t so l0ng ago, i would probably have had a nightmare if the last part wasnt posted. Thanks for the awsum blog it never fails the readers totally love it. Much appreciated. Almost every post makes me laugh.

Dearest Author words can’t explain how thankful I am for this amazing blog that you have..I have been reading this blog right from the start and fell in love with it at that moment only and everytime I would get an email notification I would hope its an LLD post (still do this :p) and if it is I would be super exited lol..I got my sister,cousins and friends hooked onto this blog esp after DOAD ended and they were all sad I was like go read LLD its an epic blog..I got so addicted to this blog that it felt like I was living in their world and the best part was they were moments about the characters where I could relate to them so well it was like I knew what they were going through 🙂
    They way I would laugh like a loon at the hilarious parts (esp when at the beginning the prank they played I remember I even mimicked the whole simba roar for the fun of it :P) or get all sad esp about Nemo and Aara and their sufferings 😦 but this blog has not only made me laugh or be all emotional but it also taught me a lot of lessons like how no matter how low you get in life you can get back to the top,don’t be scared to love another being just cause of your past experiences ,don’t let your past destroy your future,Don’t judge a person by how they are because at times you have no idea how much pain and suffering they have been through and how good they are at hiding it from the world and acting like they doing just great but meanwhile inside they dying and most importantly don’t ever let jealousy for another overpower you because jealousy destroys you and of be ther for your friends and family always because you never know when you will need them 🙂 ,lol I could go on and on literally :p and “Fati luvs LLD” the points you mentioned about what you learnt its like you just spoke my mind 🙂
    Ahh I love Nemo best character in the blog but eyy I love everyone in the blog and I love the way you have made everyone be a unique and different person but how they all get along and bond so easily and they all have the crazy side in them 😉 ..This is like thee best blog ever and Author you have out done yourself with it so keep it up and continue doing what you do best -Make my day and am sure many others 🙂 xx ❤ ps-pls don't end it suddenly or anytime soon otherwise I will be heartbroken 😦

I def cant think of any post wich wasn’t memorable… All the post were awesome and unique in their own way… U made us cry,laugh,hurt,excited,happy,sad thru out the journey… I came across ur blog thru my sis… Once we were sited and suddenly she starts laughing out loud(and I hate it wen ppl r reading and sudenly laugh out loud) soo I got irritated and told her to shut up.. And she’s like read this blog and we’ll see if u dont laugh.. And the next thing I’m reading it and cant jus stop laughing:) u make us feel their emotions(especially NEMO)…I cry like a baby when u hurt Nemo:(… Anyhoo all in all I looove ur blog… Nemo Nemo Nemo allllll the waaaay….   24. I have too many fav parts of LLD. My recent fav was when zoheb helped aara climb up 😀 my tummy sure was doing the flip flop. I also liked the whole simba competition that was too hilarious! When mari confessed everything she has done now in the last post, I felt really down cause I can relate to some of the things that aara has been through. There is nothing worse in life to have someone try and knock you down all the time just out of spite. Some scars just never go away. Its easy to forgive but forgetting is something else. All the characters in LLD can be related to someone in my life.
    LLD has left me many times tearing with laughter, crying and actually feeling flip flops :-). Even my hubby knows not to disturb me when I read this blog.

  26. I think my fave memories would be when Nemo did the Simba phone call prank and when Aara gave Zoheb a chance of a lifetime that was an awesome post. The cherry on the top would be the whole part with Anga! That was just classic. Amongst the many lessons learnt I think the most important would be to never give up on someone you love no matter how much they continue hurting you {Nemo and Aara} The factor that had me hooked on to this blog is the humorous parts that totally crack me up. There are nights where I’d be in bed reading the lld posts and I end up laughing so hard that my dad comes to check on me to make sure eveything is fine. In short I think this is an amazing blog written by a talented author and definitely my personal favourite!!!

    P.S – I think this would make an awesome movie..

  29. Well Shazia! What can say………. It’s amazing, this blog is so amazing! Each and every character is totally awesome all with different personalities with one thing in common their friendship! It has stood the test of time and that’s y I know Aara will eventually forgive Mari! This blog brings back a lot of good memories and I can’t wait for each new post! When I read LLD I’m gone to another world! I love to read it without any disturbances so I can laugh and cry with been questioned! Not special post I love them all but my special people 🙂 Aara and Nemo not forgetting u shazia this blog is something I look forward to and enjoy and I love the fact that is just takes me away frm my hectic live!

  33. “Whenever I look at you, I forget everything I was going to say” #LLD_Email :p I automatically zone into LLD world and I prefer reading it all alone in the dark… Life Love Destiny,,, the name say’s it all and yes I’ve learnt lessons from lld like you can’t believe, first of all I’ve learnt to ‘live’ not just merely exist, I’ve learnt that you do not find love infact love finds you in your ordinary life and most of all I’ve learnt destiny… no matter what you want in life or who you want, only what’s destined for you will reach you. I’m happy that I team Nemo because otherwise I would have taken “destiny” for granted whereas now I’ve learnt destiny. It’s all what Allah has chosen for us and what’s best for us. I literally make dua Nemo and Aara end up together but that’s another lessons I learnt that all your duas don’t get accepted as is, sometimes you given something else or its delayed but everything for the best…

    #LLD_Memories♡ ….To have favourite a memory on lld would be impossible, bcz every post holds a different and unique memory. LLD lives up to its name…it’s exactly how life is,,, it makes us laugh, smile, cry, sad, heart broken, everything possible emotion the characters feel, we feel it too.   35. This is truly thee best blog ever! N I think LLD HAS to be made into a movie!! That said….LLD makes my day 😀 I love it!its actually dangerous reading LLD in public cos people think we crazzzzyyy smiling and laughing to ourselves!lol
    there can never be just 1 memorable post,there’s just too many to choose from..1 of my all time favourites is My Darling Nemo pranking uncle yusuf! Roaaarrrr!!!!!!! Lmao!!! Or aara sticking tomatoes on stuck-up Zohebs car! Lol
    Don’t forget the time they left zainub @ the garage =)) ohh and I lurvvv how nemo came to the rescue there 😉

    Blownaway moments: when Aara bumped into zoheb a lifetime before not knowing it! That is Destiny!

    Awwww moments: zoheb getting on the ladder togetherwith aara to help her.

    Heartbreaking moments: nemo’s reaction everytime he has to see zoheb and aara together knowing that he’s lost his love.

    loved the way Nemo referred to aara as ‘MY Aara’ when he beat the shit out of Aadil 😀

    Nemo’s Dua 😥 love it,heartbreaking

    Everytime I read about this amazing group of friends,I think we see a little bit of ourselves in everyone,and I only wish I had such amazing friends and to create awesome memories with!

  37. Finding this blog…. Was one of the best things that has hapened to me …. Every time I receive a Email I hav hope that LIFE LOVE DESTINY has updated .. Wen I feel down I just go to ur blog n then I feel totaly fyn…. Totally love this blog ..

I don’t read a lot of blogs, but from the few I do read this is my favourite blog … I’m a die hard NEMO so my favourte sad moment was when Araa and Zoheb confessed that they in love and my favourite funny part was all the pranks the group played on each other and on other people ….
